The CM1000 is designed to rehydrate large volumes of 5kg coir blocks. The CM1000 will be fed with blocks by using an incline hopper which can be filled with a front end loader. The blocks then run through a shredder where the blocks are made into smaller pieces. This will give the coir blocks more surface to absorb water.
From the shredder the pieces of coir fall into two specially designed screw conveyors. During the time the coir is in the screw conveyors water can be added through nozzles. The design of the screw conveyors make that the water and coir are mixed over a short distance.

Optionally a star sieve and a smaller breaker can be added to the line. The star sieve will sieve out the ready material. And the small lumps of dry coir that remain after the mixing screw will be broken in the small end breaker.
